Historic commentary with map on every cruise.  Raquette Lake is the birthplace of the Great Camps style of architecture.  There are more Great Camps on and near Raquette Lake than anywhere else in the Adirondack Park.  So lots of interesting history!

Just 25 miles east of Old Forge.  Follow Rt 28 out of Old Forge, through Eagle Bay and Inlet.  12 miles later turn left at intersection by Raquette Lake school and drive into tiny village.  Plenty of parking by the boat.
