August 3-5, Friday-Sunday

A community-based event to generate awareness
of William West Durant's accomplishments and honor his
legacy which we enjoy today. Spend the day or the weekend!

  • Enjoy a hike around Sagamore Lake (3 1/2 miles)
  • Go fishing on Raquette Lake
    (boat rentals available at Burke's Marina; guide services available)
  • Guided tours of Great Camp Sagamore,
    the Alfred Vanderbilt wilderness estate for over 50 years,
    at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm daily
  • Cruise and dine on the W.W. Durant 7 days a week
  • Adirondack Museum open 10am-6pm daily in August

Saturday, August 2

2:00-3:00 PM Free Concert at St. Williams on Long  Point.   Free water taxi service from and to the town dock, beginning 1:30 pm   Wide Variety,  "Jersey's Premiere A Cappella Group,"   is a group of a cappella singers, six ne'er do wells who love to entertain. They take the best of R&B, rock and roll and popular standards, add their own blend of vocal harmonies (and slightly dysfunctional personalities), and deliver a truly unique entertainment experience.   Sound zany?  Come see for yourself!  www.stwilliamsonlongpoint.org

2nd Annual Poker Run in Raquette Lake village Saturday afternoon.  
4:00-7:00 pm.  Registration in the village 3:30-5:30 pm.  
Boat,  Drive, Walk  $10 Entry fee
100% Cash Payout!

Enjoy live music on the green from 6:30-9:30 pm
7pm Boat parade in the village
9:30  Fireworks ( premium seating on the Durant before the moonlight cruise)
Moonlight Cruise with live entertainment following the fireworks ($7 pp)
Free admission to all Poker Run entrants.
