ADIRONDACK GILDED AGE TOUR
Raquette Lake Navigation
The W.W. Durant, cruising along Raquette Lake's 99 miles of shoreline, offers the ambiance of an opulent, by-gone era by surrounding guests with wainscoting, stained & etched glass, gleaming brass, rich carpeting and polished oak, while, at the same time, offering the convenience and comfort of modern amenities. Raquette Lake Navigation Co. offers a variety of cruises from June through October. Luncheon, dinner and Sunday Brunch cruises all offer delectable menus planned and executed by our creative chef and trained staff. Scenic excursions allow visitors to enjoy the boat ride and narration without dining.
In 1999, Raquette Lake Navigation received the ANCA Business of the Year Award from the Adirondack North Country Association. ANCA recognized this family owned & operated business for a "reputation for excellence that extends well beyond ANCA's borders" and for their "promotion of the entire ANCA region."
An Award-Winning Partnership In 1998 the Gilded Age Tour partners- Adirondack Museum, Great Camp Sagamore and Raquette Lake Navigation - were the proud recipients of The Millennium Award, given by The Arts and Business Council and NYSCA (New York State Council on the Arts), in recognition of the successful partnership between two non-profits and a business to promote an arts and cultural heritage program.
