Read what other happy guests have written over the past 21 years:
"We'll be encouraging our friends and family who visit the Adirondacks to include your cruise as part of their vacations." David A.
"Our evening aboard your boat was the highlight of our vacation." Ellen G.
"My husband and I took your dinner cruise last year and it was by far the best food I have eaten on land or water." Sharon F.
"We expected a good lunch- but we got a great lunch! Way beyond reasonable expectations. The trip was incredible. " Sallie B.
Do you want your wedding ceremony and reception venue to reflect your love of these Adirondack woods and waters, wind and sky?
"Since I was young I knew I wanted the WW Durant to be part of my wedding day.
I just wanted to let you all know how much we appreciated you making that special day so perfect.... You all have blessed us, as well as our family and friends, with unforgettable memories and for that we are so grateful."
Bethany and Josh E.
Almost 300 ceremonies have been performed by Captain Pohl on the open upper deck of the WW Durant. We love promoting St. Williams on Long Point as a resplendent and unique setting for a wedding ceremony, followed by a reception on the WW Durant. How many couples can say they were married in a boat-access only church built over 100 years ago in the Adirondack wilderness? And then entertained their guests at a reception where everyone had a view of the lake? How fortunate you are to have a choice between two such exquisite locations!
"We still appreciate all your work in allowing my husband and I to have one of the first peaceful dinners we'd had in many months with a toddler!
Here is our daughter April from summer of 2008, still enjoying a ride on the W.W. Durant! A dinner or afternoon trip on the W.W. Durant has become an essential part of our family's summer. The boat ride is charming, the scenery gorgeous, and the food has always been wonderful. And the service? I think that 1992 photo says it all.
Thank you and we'll see you next year!"
