Wedding Ceremonies at St. Williams

Rich in history and natural beauty, St Williams on Long Point is a boat-access-only church that provides the perfect ambience for your Adirondack Wedding Ceremony. After your vows, enjoy breathtaking views with a reception about the WW Durant, a 19th Century-style tour boat that evokes the romance of the Gilded Age.

You and your guests truly participate in a piece of history. St. Williams on Long point was built in 1890 by developer William West Durant. This beautifully restored non-denominational church is on the National Register of Historic Places and offers an authentic backdrop like none other for small to medium sized weddings.

On board the WW Durant, your guests marvel at the surrounding mountains, woods, and sparkling waters of Raquette Lake while enjoying delicious cuisine by Executive Chef James Pohl, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.

On-site Event Planner, Rachel Pohl, helps you with every detail before, during, and after the reception, so you’re able to relax and have fun with your guests. It’s sure to be a wedding they’ll always remember!

For an extra special touch the bridal party could arrive to St. Williams by The Avery Mae, an Elco Electric Luxury Launch.

Arrive in Style

Chartering a seaplane is a unique Adirondack wedding idea to give the day another special touch. While helicopter charters are used for luxury weddings across the world, there’s only a few places in the Adirondacks where you can arrive at the wedding in a seaplane. Arrive in truly regal style, with your guests waiting at shore and the plane softly landing beside your St. Williams wedding venue.

Make your special day even more unique by chartering The Avery Mae and arriving in unmatched style. Life’s most important days should always be full of unique memories, and there’s little to rival the exclusive feeling of arriving at the St. Williams dock in a luxury Elco Electric Launch. The Avery Mae can accommodate up to 10 passengers so you may want to include your whole wedding entourage, just your bridesmaids or perhaps you and your father enjoying one last private time together before he gives you away.

A seaplane charter or an Elco Electric Launch charter is an experience that befits the auspiciousness of your wedding day, offering a luxury and exclusivity that can elevate any Adirondack wedding.
