She and her husband and little boy live in Lake Placid. They have a landscaping business as well as health foods store.

Macie Groves worked for us for several years. She now lives in Portland, Oregon and came east this July for her grandfather’s 80th birthday. Macie and her boyfriend come back to visit.

Fall Public Cruise Weekend Schedule
The Fall Public Cruise Weekend Schedule begins on Fridays with a dinner cruise, boarding at 4 pm and sailing 4:30-7:30, earlier to try to capture more daylight. Complimentary appetizers during cocktail hour. For planning purposes, Fri Sept 20 is a private charter. Saturdays we offer a luncheon cruise, scenic excursion and dinner cruise. Sat dinner boards 4:30-5 and sails 5-8, again trying to capture those rays! For planning purposes Sat Sept 14 is a private charter wedding cruise during the excursion and dinner time slots. And we celebrate Sundays with a Champagne Brunch cruise featuring bottomless Bloody Marys (using Rachel’s Elixir) and mimosas, plus prime rib at the carving station and a whole lot of other delicious items.

On Friday, August 30, 2013, our Mystery Wine Pairing Dinner Cruise will feature Wine Expert Greg Taylor of Frederick Wildman Wine Distributors collaborating with Chef Jim and Beverage Manager Rachel Pohl on the wine & food pairing. You’ll just have to trust Chef Jim, Rachel and Greg on this one. Five courses, five different wines. $75.00 per person. Reservations required. Limited to 66 people. Some of you may remember Greg and his wife Sharon ran Friends Lake Inn for years and now own and operate The Fern Lodge in Chestertown, NY. So you know the bar is set high if it meets Greg’s standards.
